Weekly Roundup: recommended resources & content for soul fuel
Week of December 8-12
Happy Friday! :)
Here are a few resource recommendations that I thought you’d enjoy…I’m VERY excited to share these with you…
Scripture –
Ephesians 3:14-19 — For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Psalm 19:7-9 & 14 — The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 46 Explained: God’s Protection in Chaotic End Times | Lauren Caron
Description: “Psalm 46 is one of the most powerful promises for believers living in a shaking world. Tonight (in this impromptu livestream) we’re opening this chapter together to see why God tells us not to fear, even when the nations roar and the earth trembles. If you’re overwhelmed by the constant chaos of these end times, this message will steady your heart and remind you who holds the world together.”
Sunday Night Live: Bible Prophecy 101 | Pete Garcia (Substack: Rev310)
Description: “Overview of all Bible Prophecy (Past, Present, Future)”
This is a 3-hour livestream about Bible prophecy…the things talked about from Genesis to Revelation. It’s a very good listen! If you’re already a Bible prophecy fan, you’ll love it…and if you want to get into Bible prophecy, Pete is an amazing resource for that. He’s the type of teacher who makes it easy to get drawn into a topic. If you’re traveling for Christmas, it’s a good way to spend your drive. However, there are also a TON of charts and visuals, so watching it on the TV at home is amazing too.
“There are no other religious books on planet earth that have the audacity to hang their track record on their ability to predict the future. Only the Bible is 20/20, on target, and always has been. You can prove the Bible is true by what it says and what has happened.” — Chuck Missler
For New Believers & Young Christians | YouTube playlist by David Guzik
This link will take you to a 29-part series with topics like: how to read your Bible, understanding God’s will, baptism into Christ, your place in God’s eternal purpose, better personal Bible study, why grace matters, etc.
Worship –
Just this week, I came across Emanuel Roro’s music. I really like listening to Hebrew music (daydreaming about learning to speak it), and his profile came up while I was listening to my Hebrew Worship playlist on Spotify. Other Hebrew worship artist recommendations would be Joshua Aaron, Shilo Ben Hod, and SOLU Israel. They can be found on Spotify or YouTube.

Gentle and Lowly: the Heart of Christ for Sinners & Sufferers | by Dane Ortlund
Description: “I have read no book that more carefully, thoroughly, and tenderly displays Christ’s heart.” —Paul David Tripp
Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today."
Why I’m recommending it: The more we understand His loyal, lavish heart for us, the more fullness we’ll be able to experience in our relationship with Him. By knowing His heart, we get to know what endless joy and freedom feel like. Knowing His heart will better you in every way, and will continue to do so always. He’s not too good to be true, and neither is the eternal impact of His love.
